Hello Ron;  This an update of where we are in the ministry today.

God has steered us into church planting and training pastors to serve in these churches. We just completed out first church and will start the  second one soon. The pastor is doing a wonderful job and the church is already over capacity on Sunday. Also, we just completed our 43 well and have 13 more to do this year. We are developing a "health and wellness" program within the tribes with the goal of getting tribal villages healthy one tribe at a time. We feel that this approach is more effective than one week medical missions. As a result, there are 8 TB patients that we are treating on a long term medication program. Others that we are helping are the blind, cleft pallet, club foot, malaria, pneumonia, and everyday needs such as congestions, common cold, etc.

Laarni is teaching the basics to preschoolers in the morning and adults in the afternoon. A second school will start soon in the church we just completed. There are 3 more churches and schools in the planning stage. We also provide transportation to the tribal members needing hospital care and food if they are confined.

There are a couple of teams coming from the US to help us
(Errol is 73) with the construction of the medical clinic that we are building. The tentative dates are in May and June but that has not been finalized yet. One team is from Wyoming and the other from Nebraska. In December of this year we will be returning to the US for itineration. As you can imagine, the needs are great and sometimes overwhelming except for God!!!

First we need prayer. The enemy is constantly attacking our health, finances, and our relationship and the best weapon against his antics is prayer. As everyone else in missions we never have enough funds and workers. If anyone feels led to help in any of these needs, God will surely bless you.

Gods richest blessings to you all. Errol and Laarni.

As you can imagine, the needs are great

Hello Ron !!

We are in Manila right now and just returning from the Island of Mindoro. We were there for the groundbreaking of our new medical clinic. All went well and the clinic is coming along great in getting it functional. Now we are in Manila working on getting the meds into the country for the clinic, and also trying in faith to schedule the operations of the 3 children we are helping.

I will produce a DVD of our trip and make a copy available to you and the church in Dubois.

Regarding our next trip: We will leave for Manila April 1st and return to the US April 15th for our medical mission trip, having medical staff and meds, etc.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us anytime we go on a missions trip. Indeed, medical personnel are especially needed. Though we have a good supply of doctors and dentists committed on this trip, there is no such thing as too many medical volunteers. Hopefully and perhaps at some time in the future " too many " will become an issue, but for now more is not a problem.

We are in the process of supplying 3 more tribes with water wells, which will bring the total to 23 tribes. We are continuing to identify tribes that need water. Also we are continuing to find tribes that are good candidates for evangelism. Therefore, on our April missions trip we hope to have at least 5-6 more tribes targeted for wells.

What we really need is more funds. Laarni and I now in faith are convinced that God has sent us to this work, and He will provide even as He has provided. Right now by faith the Lord is expanding our borders so rapidly that it is somewhat frightening, but exciting. Presently we are forming a coalition with several of the tribal pastors on the Island of Mindoro to work with us to reach more of the tribal people quicker than we had imagined. Hundreds upon hundreds are coming to Christ. What a joy!!

And, we are excited to hear how your web site is taking off.

Thanks Ron, and God richly bless you for your heart to help reach the lost and needy.   Errol.

The ministry of Mission of Hope is operated in faith.

(Ron's book, God's Hook, tells of the uniqueness of Biblical faith.)
