Welcome to our
area of Wyoming - and the little town on Dubois. I have a
friend at the Chamber of Commerce and together we can send to you a
Package of information. We are surrounded on three sides (west, north,
and south) by the Shoshone National Forest, and the territory
north and south of the Forest are designated Wilderness. Ten miles east
of town is the large Wind River Indian Reservation within which are the
cities of Riverton and Lander.
I just found out (Dec. 22, 2009) that
our town is rated 4th our of 10 western towns that "best keep the
spirit of the west" going. In True West magazine (in its 57th year)
will have in its January 2010 issue these to towns. You can read about
us there.
Below is a list of subject matter that can be placed in a package and
mailed free to you. Simply send me an email with your list of what
topics you would like to have in a package and include your name and
address. I do not keep an email address list, and I will not be keeping
your email. I will print out your list and name and address and give
that to the friend at the Chamber of Commerce. She will not receive
your email address and I will delete you email address. I you wish to
give me a personal message and want a response from me than please say
so, and I will respond by email. Therefore, I trust that you understand
that you will not be placed on any list. Upon receiving your package
you will also receive the address of the Chamber of Commerce and you
can respond to them or not as you please. We are proud of our Rocky
Mountain region and of our little town. You can see something of our town here and you
can begin to see some of the mountains, etc., around us by going to
Wyoming Photos (see above).
